Designed for equine skin care, Formula 44 Shampoo provides gentle and effective cleansing for areas prone to rain rot, scratches, cannon crud, pastern crud, and other common skin concerns. It can also be used as part of a preventative bathing routine in the spring and fall, when changing weather and seasonal conditions can put extra stress on your horse’s skin.
The concentrated formula is versatile enough for targeted washing or whole-body bathing.
Use it on the legs, body, and other affected areas as needed. For stubborn skin conditions, follow with Formula 44 Ointment or Spray once the area is clean and dry.
Directions: Wet the coat thoroughly. For the legs and affected areas, apply shampoo undiluted and work into the coat. For whole-body use, Formula 44 Shampoo can be diluted with water before application. Rinse thoroughly.
