Dr. Hansen’s Equine Apothecary draws on this rich tradition—bringing together deep pharmaceutical expertise with a hands-on understanding of horses to create remedies that are tailored for practical, everyday use in the equestrian world.
My journey began in 2014, blending my passion for horses with my pharmaceutical expertise. Shortly after graduating from a compounding-focused pharmacy school, I developed my first product, Formula 44 Ointment, when an effective equine wound product I relied on became unavailable. As both a Pharmacist and horse owner, I ensure every product I create meets the highest standard of care—because only the best is good enough for our horses and dogs.
